Interpretacion del Escudo de Totora Capital de la Provincia Carrasco.
El escudo lleva como base o fondo un blazon de color azul, representando la limpida pureza de su cielo azul.
Sobre el fondo azul hay un pergamino de cuero, en la parte superior del pergamino en letras de molde y de color blanco esta la inscripcion " TOTORA ".
En la parte inferior del pergamino lleva seis estrellas blancas, representando las seis secciones que conforman la provincia.
En el interior del pergamino hay un ovalo dividido en tres cuarteles.
En el cuartel superior estan representadas las montanas y los valles de la provincia.
En el cuartel inferior izquierdo sobre fondo negro esta el emblema del comercio; simbolizando el desarrollo de la provincia por el intercambio comercial de productos del oriente y occidente boliviano que se desarrollaba precisasamente en TOTORA.
El cuartel inferior derecho representa a los Yungas y los Valles, por ser los factores fundamentales en el progreso, particularmente de la ciudad de TOTORA como fueron los cultivos de la coca; en epocas en que la planta no estaba estigmatizada.
El pergamino esta rodeado por dos ramas de olivo y laurel, sujetas por un nudo de cinta con los colores de la bandera nacional.  Escrito en el Emblema National esta la fecha de la foundacion, 24 de Junio de 1876.
El color distintivo de la provincia es el VERDE.
  Description of the coat of Arms of Totora.

The background is emblazoned with blue, representing the crystal clear purity of the blue sky.
On this background is a leather scroll with the word TOTORA inscribed on the upper part, and five white stars which represent the five sections of the province are inscribed on the lower part in the shape of a V. The word TOTORA has been shown in black and in white on different occasions.
An oval divided into three sections lies between the word TOTORA and the stars.
The upper section of the oval represents the mountains and the valleys of the province.
The lower left section with the black background includes a symbol representing the development of the province as the central exchange point for commerce between the eastern and the western regions of Bolivia.
The lower right section represents the Yungas and the valleys that were fundamental to the development of the city of Totora due to the cultivation of coca at a time when there was no stigma attached to the plant.
The scroll is surrounded by a laurel branch and an olive branch entwined by a ribbon with the colors of the national flag of Bolivia. The date of the founding of the city, 24th of June, 1876 is inscribed on the ribbon.
The distinctive color of the province is GREEN.
